Registration is open at www.waterweek.us for the National Water Policy Forum, Fly-In & Expo (April 11-13, 2016) in Washington D.C. The event is presented by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), the Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) and the WateReuse Association.
This year’s program will feature distinguished speakers, conference sessions, Capitol Hill visits, and regulatory round-tables including:
- Congressional Breakfast & Clean Water Priorities for the Remainder of the 114th Congress: Senior members of Congress and congressional staff will provide their perspectives on the most important water issues facing Congress including negotiations over the Water Resources Development Act, budget discussions on important clean water funding mechanisms like the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA), and the congressional response to the recent water crisis in Flint, Michigan.
- Organized Capitol Hill Visits with Members of Congress and staff to discuss national policy priorities for clean water and how these issues are impacting constituents.
- U.S. EPA Priorities & Federal Agency Round-tables with senior EPA officials and EPA staff from water, enforcement and other key offices will join attendees for a series of presentations and round-table discussions on policy issues impacting the clean water sector lead by representatives from EPA and other federal agencies.
