Signaling DOJ’s increasing pressure to deter corporate wrongdoing, DOJ issues new guidance this week titled “Individual Accountability for Corporate Wrongdoing.” Important for every CEO, Compliance Officer, and corporate manager to read and take to heart. Under this new policy, for a company to receive cooperation credit in any civil or criminal prosecution, the company must provide DOJ with all relevant facts relating to the individuals responsible for the misconduct, regardless of title or position.
