Washington, D.C., October 25, 2024 – Earth & Water Law, LLC (E&W Law) announced today the addition of Tammy L. Helminski to the partnership. An innovative leader in environmental legal matters and compliance, Tammy leverages her engineering background and deep understanding of policy to successfully guide her clients through political and regulatory processes.

With a strong focus on evaluating and litigating state and federal regulatory matters, Tammy provides counsel to regulated parties, namely corporations, trade associations, municipalities, and airport authorities.
In recent years, her practice has focused on the unprecedented challenges posed by emerging contaminants, particularly per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), serving as lead coordinator of the national PFAS Regulatory Coalition.
Tammy began her career as an environmental engineer at Ford Motor Company and a pollution prevention coordinator at the NASA Ames Research Center. She graduated from the University of Michigan Law School (J.D) and Michigan Technological University (M.S., Environmental Policy and B.S., Environmental Engineering).
