E&W Law Welcomes New Partner Paul Sarahan

Washington, D.C., July 24, 2023 – Earth & Water Law, LLC (E&W Law) announced today the addition of Paul C. Sarahan to the partnership. Paul’s practice is primarily focused on environmental policy, enforcement, remediation, auditing, and permitting. He has handled a range of matters including administrative, civil and criminal enforcement, permitting, auditing, litigation, workplace safety, air quality, water rights, water quality, waste handling and disposal, and Superfund matters. His key experience includes providing regulatory counseling, advising clients on environmental auditing, and representing clients in cost recovery and remediation cases.

Following his service as Director of the Litigation Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Paul returned to private practice in 2005, and has represented clients in the energy, chemical, manufacturing, transportation, and retail industry sectors before federal, state, and local agencies.

Paul graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his LL.M. in Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston Law Center. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and its Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section. Paul is active in his community where he is focused on economic development, transportation, and racial reconciliation issues.
