Sabren H. Wahdan is a true reflection of the American dream. The youngest of six children, Sabren’s parents immigrated to the United States from Palestine in the 1970’s seeking a brighter future for themselves and their children. Sabren speaks Arabic fluently and represents Arabic-speaking, as well as U.S., companies and entities on a broad range of U.S. commercial
law issues.
She received her Juris Doctor degree from the Antonin Scalia Law School of George Mason University in 2022. A native of Virginia, Sabren also completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Communications & Philosophy from Marymount University also in Arlington, VA.
Sabren’s strong interest in environmental law and regulation was sparked by her studies at Scalia under Professor E. Donald Elliott, a partner at Earth & Water Law. Sabren believes that well-designed envrionmnetal regulations can have a positive impact on us as individuals, our families, our communities, and the world as a whole.
In addition to her background in environmental law, she is an experienced Judicial Law Clerk. In 2020, she served as a Judical Law Clerk for the Honorable James Clarck of the Alexandria Circuit Court in Virginia, where she composed draft orders, memoranda, and post-conviction opinions and provided primary contact with the attorneys on the cases. Sabren collaborated with the fellow Law Clerk to complete chambers and bench assignments including reviewing case files, and determining the proper disposition of pre-trial motions in criminal cases or any orders requested in civil domestic cases.
Sabren’s experience includes corporate business law; intellectual property and copyright law; criminal and civil rights law, as well as immigration law. She has also done pro bono work with those seeking asylum and safe harbor from violence.
Outside of education and work, Sabren enjoys traveling, watching and sports and spending time with friends and family. Additionally, she seeks opportunities to mentor and support young women seeking to advance their education and careers.
